The Mad Scientists' Club
Complete Collection

The gang's all here, as are the stories, all fourteen of them. Yep, that's right. All twelve individual tales and the two novels combined into one book. The book is big enough that your friends will notice and ask you what's in it. You can proudly tell them that you have the complete Mad Scientists' Club works in your hands and can find anything they might want to know about the gang.

Even better, you can carry this around wherever you go and have every story right at your fingertips. And, like all paperbacks, afer a while it will become dog-eared from constant use as you read and re-read the exploits of the junior geniuses from Mammoth Falls.

This book includes all four Mad Scientists' Club books by Bertrand Brinley: The Mad Scientists' Club, The New Adventures of the Mad Scientists' Club, The Big Kerplop! and The Big Chunk of Ice.

ISBN 978-1-930900-51-6 Paperback, 624 pages, 6" x 9". Ages 8-??? $29.99

The Mad Scientists' Club
50th Anniversary Edition

If you're here, then you most likely first read the Mad Scientists' Club decades ago when you were a kid and probably got your paperback from Scholastic for a quarter. Now we're pleased to offer a brand new 50th Anniversary Edition of these wonderful, imaginative stories in hardcover. To make it reminiscent of the Scholastic edition (which most of us are more familiar with!) we've gone back to the original font which Scholastic used on the front cover.

Also new for this edition is an introduction by Sheridan Brinley in which he describes the house his family lived in when his father wrote these stories, he also shares a picture with us of the room where his father had his office. We've put the old intro to the 40th Anniv. Ed. at the end of the book so you won't miss out on all those notes about the Mad Scientists' Club too! We think you'll be pleased with this new collector's edition for the true Mad Scientists' Club fan!

A strange sea monster appears on the lake ...a fortune is unearthed from an old cannon ...a valuable dinosaur egg is stolen. Watch out as the Mad Scientists turn Mammoth Falls upside down!

Take seven, lively, "normal" boys — one an inventive genius — give them a clubhouse for cooking up ideas, an electronics lab above the town hardware store, and a good supply of Army surplus equipment, and you, dear reader, have a boyhood dream come true and a situation that bears watching.

In the hands of an author whose own work involved technological pioneering, the proceedings are well worth undivided attention, as the boys explore every conceivable possibility for high and happy adventure in the neighborhood of Mammoth Falls. To the unutterable confusion of the local dignitaries — and the unalloyed delight of Bertrand Brinley's fans — the young heroes not only outwit their insidious rival, Harmon Muldoon, but emerge as town heroes. Here, captured under one cover, are the fun-filled escapades of the young scientists whose exciting capers debuted in Boys' Life fifty years ago.

Author's Edition with text restored from the original manuscripts.

ISBN 978-1-930900-53-0 Hardcover 217 pages. Ages 8-12. $18.95

The New Adventures of the Mad Scientists' Club
was named a Notable Book for Children 2002 by Smithsonian Magazine.

The New Adventures of
the Mad Scientists' Club

Just another quiet day in Mammoth Falls. Or is it? Have flying saucers really been sighted? How about those rumblings in the ground during the wee hours of the morning... and a midget submarine hidden in a secret cavern?

With evidence like this, our seven young geniuses can't be far behind. And they're not! The town of Mammoth Falls will never be the same again, because here come the Mad Scientists with five more mad adventures!

Stories in this volume: The Telltale Transmitter, The Cool Cavern, Big Chief Rainmaker, The Flying Sorcerer and The Great Confrontation.

ISBN 1-930900-11-2 Hardcover 210 pages. Ages 8-12. $18.95

The Big Kerplop!

At last! For the first time, this book is now fully illustrated by Charles Geer. It features nine new illustrations covering sixteen pages, including Jaspar Okeby dumping a load of watermelons on Colonel March's car!

The whine of jet engines thunders from above as the giant Air Force bomber makes its approach to Westport Field. Suddenly, the citizens of Mammoth Falls are startled to see the bomb bay doors open and an object drop down, down, directly into Strawberry lake. Splash!

And what is that object? Why a bomb, what else? Not just a common, ordinary, conventional bomb, but an atomic bomb! But that's just the beginning of the latest (actually the first) madcap adventure - book-length this time - of that outrageous, notorious threat to municipal sanity known as The Mad Scientists' Club. As you know, with these boys anything can happen, and it does!

ISBN 978-1-930900-44-9 Hardcover $18.95
Ages 8-12.

The Big Chunk of Ice

The fourth book in The Mad Scientists' Club series, previously unpublished! All new illustrations and cover by Charles Geer.

It wasn't the diamond as big as the Ritz, but it was a pretty big chunk of ice, and it got the precocious pranksters of The Mad Scientists' Club entwined in an international intrigue only the intrepid investigators of Interpol could unravel.

Take the seven young mad scientists of Mammoth Falls, stick them in an antiquated blimp bound for the Austrian Alps, along with two "hep" college girls and a zany professor of mysterious Rumanian origins -- and you have the makings of a high-flying fun fest!

If you're not already a fan of super-brain Henry Mulligan, dinky Dinky Poore, fat Freddy Muldoon, and the other unpredictable troublemakers that populate this series of mad adventure stories, you will be, once you read The Big Chunk of Ice.

A Signed Limited Edition of this book is available, it is limited to 250 numbered copies signed by Charles Geer and Sheridan Brinley. Sheridan is the author's son and has written the Introduction to each book in the series, as well as the epilogue for this one, based on his father's notes. 10 lettered copies are reserved for Charles Geer and the author's family. The numbered copies are available for sale only here on our website. We have permanently marked the signed edition down from $50 to $18.95!
